In May and June of 2021, Ariel performed in a puppeteer in High Risk Baby! with Push Push Arts in Atlanta.
A year after a school shooting claimed the life of his wife, Mr. Y finds himself teaching in the same classroom where the tragedy occurred. As he is interviewed for the school yearbook, Mr. Y and his students revisit the memories of life before and after the shooting. Faculty Portrait examines the strength it takes to face tragedy and pick up the pieces for the good of the community.
Booked a last minute gig to perform as a teacher in a short tear-jerker of a film, written and directed by Meir Key.
Honored to direct the first production of a brand new musical, as part of the NYC Fringe Festival at the Chain Theater! A whirlwind experience that really paid off.
Running throughout October, I’m playing Olivia in a site-specific all-female Twelfth Night at Bartow-Pell Mansion in the Bronx, and then at Cahill Theater at the College of Mount Saint Vincent. This is a role I’ve always wanted to play, with a company close to home!
July - August 2019, I first directed then starred in (long story) the Sci-Fi play Shelter by Jack Horton Gilbert, at Otherworld Theater Company.

I was the producer for the 4th year in a row for the Annual Lift-Off Festival for The Navigators Theater Company. A success all around!

Thrilled to be playing the Lady in Red Monkey's production of Macbeth, opening October 11th.
On August 21 I directed POSTSCRIPT by Janet Thielke at the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival. It is a beautiful script, fab actors, and the show killed it. What a great experience!
